WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE FOR DTF/DTG?

Do you know what is DTF & DTG? What is their difference?
Compared with the complicated steps of screen printing, DTF heat transfer and DTG T-shirt direct printing are more convenient and simpler.
For DTF You only need to prepare an all-in-one DTF machine that integrates DTF printer, DTF powder machine, and drying machine. A heat press machine is also required, and the necessary consumables are DTF ink, DTF hot melt powder, and PET film. DTF printing does not require fabric pre-treatment, just connect to the computer and issue a print command. After the DTF starts working, the design pattern is printed on the PET film, and then automatically sprinkled with powder by a dusting machine to make the hot melt powder evenly adhere to the design pattern. Finally, it enters the oven and is dried at high temperature for output. Cut out and place on heat press for transfer.
DTG T-shirt direct printing requires one more pre-treatment step than DTF heat transfer. Before printing, you need to apply a primer onto the fabric. Then place the T-shirt on the printing platform of the DTG T-shirt direct inkjet machine. No need for heat press transfer later. Relatively speaking, the steps are simple. You also need to connect to a computer and print through computer instructions to directly transfer the design pattern onto the pure cotton fabric.
DTF & DTG printing are slightly different, and the DTF ink and DTG ink used are also different. DTF heat transfer is the majority of printing in the clothing industry and can be used on any clothing fabric. DTG T-shirt direct printing machine is more used in pure cotton clothing. They have their own advantages and disadvantages.
